It’s true, life is more enjoyable when you have fun. That is what the AWA club strives to provide in its many activities. In the monthly meetings we gather together to nibble on snacks, drink good wine, socialize and endeavor to continue learning about how to make wine. We have a club project where we make wine together, field trips, seminars, and a holiday party and summer BBQ.

Winemaking appeals to those who have a low boredom threshold. Like a singer, or actor or athlete some days are better than others. We can acquire the skills to deliver a decent wine but there is not a formula for perfection. Wine is elusive. Wine making is a process with a mind of its own. It’s an experience and that is the attraction.
