The Grapevine is a simple web application which allows users to browse grapes available for sale to homewinemakers.  Although the majority of the users (i.e. the Amador Winemakers Association) are located in Amador County, the growers listed in the database are not limited to Amador.  Instead, the growers in this database are located in many counties throughout Northern California.  For a complete list of Amador County Grape Growers and the grapes they are offering for sale, please visit the Amador County Wine Grape Growers Assocation website.

The Grapevine is meant to be self-explanatory.  Click on the links to find grapes available by varietal or vineyard.  Please note that all information is as accurate as possible, but is subject to change at any time.  Contact information is available by clicking on the vineyard name, and you should contact growers as soon as possible to verify all information on this site and place your orders.   There are "BACK" links on the bottom of each page which will take you to the last page visited; but if you prefer, you could also use your brower's back button.

Many fields (especially the amount available and the date available) as best guesses of the growers.  The U-Pick field indicates if there is a "You Pick" option available.  Even if it is "Yes", many times the grower will also have pickers available to pick for you.

The database is growing and changing all the time, so you should check back often.  If you don't find a varietal or grower on this site that you would like to see, please send mail to ron@amadorwinemakers.org, and I'll see what I can do.  And, of course, please also let me know if you have any trouble or questions when using this site or if you have suggestions on how to improve it.
